Eight years of guys asking me for a leather care product I'd actually put my name on. Here it is.
I worked backwards on this one. If I could a balm healthy enough to put on skin, I knew it'd be exceptional on leather.
Man Balm is what came out of that — my own recipe, developed right here in Northern Alberta, built to do two things perfectly: feed full-grain leather so it ages and patinas the way it's supposed to, and take care of the hands and face that wear it every day.
Every tin is made by hand here at the shop. The beef tallow and beeswax are both sourced right here in Northern Alberta. The ingredients are so clean and natural you could practically eat them.
I've been working with leather for eight years now, and after a extensive testing, this is the best conditioner for full-grain leather I've ever used. Bar none.

On your Man Belt: Work a small amount into the grain with the cloth, then buff with the horsehair brush. Do it twice a year minimum. More if you are in wet or dry conditions. Your belt will darken slightly, age beautifully and build the kind of patina that only comes from leather that's been properly fed. This is how a belt outlives the man who bought it.
On your hands and face: A little goes a long way on dry knuckles, chapped skin, or your face after washing.
My sisters have used beef tallow on their face for years. It's one of the healthiest things you can put on your skin.

Yes — and it's not a new idea. People have been putting beef tallow on their skin for thousands of years.
Beef tallow's fatty acid profile is close to what your own skin produces naturally, which is why it absorbs instead of sitting on top like most synthetic lotions. It's also naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E and K — the same fat-soluble vitamins your skin already uses to repair and regenerate itself.
The other five ingredients aren't filler, each one is doing a specific job.
Beeswax seals in moisture with a breathable barrier instead of suffocating your pores. Sheep lanolin is one of the closest natural matches to human sebum, which is why it's been used in skin balms for generations.
Jojoba Oil is technically a liquid wax rather than an oil, so it mimics your skin's own oil instead of clogging it.
Vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps protect skin cells from everyday wear.
Cedarwood Essential Oil gives it a natural scent and mild preservation — no synthetic fragrance. All natural.
No fragrance additives, no fillers, nothing your skin has to work to process.
Start with a small amount on the back of your hand if you have sensitive skin; most guys use it daily with amazing results.
A properly conditioned belt will darken slightly and develop a richer & deeper patina over time — that's the leather aging the way full-grain leather is supposed to.
It won't blotch, stain, or discolor unevenly. Test on a small hidden area first if you're worried, but this is the same balm we use on our own belts.

Why I Made "Man Balm"
Most leather conditioners on the shelf do more harm than good. Many are loaded with petroleum distillates and silicones that seal the surface and trap moisture underneath.
Straight oils like mink oil or neatsfoot oil aren't much better — over time they oversaturate the hide and soften it past the point of holding its shape.
After a ton of testing and deep research, I made up my own formula that beats everything I've ever tried — and funny enough, it happens to use the same ingredients you'll find in top-tier natural skin care products.

Man Balm is by far the best leather conditioner I’ve ever used. It hardly alters the original colour of the leather and the beeswax makes the leather feel soft like velvet which I was not expecting. I’ve been using it on my face also for over 2 weeks now and my face has never felt healthier. And it literally glows which is amazing
