The leather
Six months. That's how long this leather spent in the tannery before I touched it — slowly tanned using natural tannins from quebracho, chestnut, mimosa, and acacia tree bark.
That process drives the tannins so deep into the fibres that the leather becomes almost impervious to the elements that destroy ordinary belts. Then hot-stuffed with oils and tallows for decades of weather resistance and flex.
This is the hide used in world-class equestrian saddles. Now it's on your waist.

Wow, I’ve been in the oil patch for years 42 of them and I’ve never come across belt like this. I usually used to go through one every six months now that I’m retired I guess I can pass it down to my grandkids. Cheers.

These belts are pretty good, I have 4 of them.
I’ve had the belt for about 12 days now. So far I love it. It’s broken in a bit very nicely(not quite as stiff) and the 1 3/4 width does actually support better I’ve found. It’s expensive but I would say it’s definitely worth it because as soon as I picked it up it feels like something that is definitely going to last for along time
